VISION
To Propagate Hindi as one of the National Integrating Languages of our Country

Devise different means to make the students realize the nuance of language. And make it meaningful and useful to the society at large.
OBJECTIVES:
The department of Hindi provides a platform for the students to develop themselves by organizing various and Extra Curricular Activities.

Head Of Inspiration
ESTA BLISHMENT : The Department Of Hindi Was Established In The Year 1954.
Keeping In View The Future Benefits Of The National Language, The Esteemed Management And The Dynamic Retired Principal Shri. John Sathyanathan Introduced The Hindi Language In This Temple Of Learning The Rich Heritage Of The Department Is The Fountain Head Of Inspiration.
This part of Kaylan Karnataka is considered a stronghold of Deccan Hindi. Urdu is a mixed Hindi language whose script is Urdu, which has been the main language here. The Hindi language was established in 1963, and several students have been studying BA, BSc, and BCA as a language subject since the same year. Hindi department was started. So far, batches have been completed

Prof. N.S. Kale Served The Department From 1967 Till His Retirement In 2001.
Prof. K. Pavan Kumar Served The Department From 1978 Till His Retirement In 2011.

Department of Hindi
Students, at the end of the course, would be able to unlock the communicator in them by using language Hindi appropriately and with confidence for further studies or in professional spheres where this language is the indispensable tool of communication.

- To increase the interest for getting Higher studies i.e Can opt for a PG program, go in for B.Ed., and appear for civil service exams.
Course Outcomes:
I Semester for B.A/B.Sc./BCA Basic Hindi: It aims
- To help them learn the basic and fundamental concept of prose
- To help them know the different areas of prose genres through lessons
- To gain knowledge of business letter draft in Hindi language
- To help them to impart the knowledge in Hindi language
- To be acquainted with glossary of Hindi terminologies
- To equip them with skills to meet the challenges
- To make a attempt in different area and theory such as vocabulary and vice versa
- To understand in the Literature more in a border areas .
- To know about Hindi literature its roots cause perspectives and methods.
- Elaborating and understanding its philosophical methods of Hindi Literature.
- Evaluating the concept of Hindi from past to present and making the society more closely through literature.
II Semester For B.A/B.Sc./BCA Basic Hindi: It aims
- To comprehend literary texts of ancient and modern poetry written by great Poets
- To inculcate the ethical values of life by
- To emphasize the narrative resurrection of primeval reality through myth
- To relate their thoughts with the given literature
- To develop skills in Hindi grammar
III Semester for B.A/B.Sc./BCA Basic Hindi: It aims
- To classify different forms and styles used in Hindi Drama
- To critically evaluate drama
- To sensitize them towards the issues happening in and around them
- Aiming at enriching human excellency
- To enrich knowledge of communication through simple and effective conversation
IV Semester for B.A/B.Sc./BCA Basic Hindi: It aims
- To classify different forms and styles used in Hindi novels
- To teach the students the values of self-reliance and service
- To emphasize them to give form of literature to some other form of art
- To showcase the literature in other form of art
- To develop their translation skills
- Having good command over particular language one can present himself in better way. Learning Hindi in non-Hindi region definitely one can achieve anything.
