VISION
To be a dynamic department empowering the students with fundamental knowledge in physics, enabling them with the ability to apply the skills and ideas to the science domain.
MISSION
The Science & Humanities lay strong foundation for science students to attain excellence in core competencies with high level of motivation, technical competency, and skilfully strong to face the global challenges and incorporate cross the technical environment.
About The Department
Welcome to the Department of Physics
Our institution has a rich history of being one of best institution of learning across the kalyana Karnataka region encompassing seven districts of north-east Karnataka has been established in 1954.The Department of physics, an integral part of the college, was started in 1958. Over the years, it has grown into a full-fledged department with a dedicated and hard working faculty. The post graduate course in physics of four semesters was started in the year 2007.
We are proud to offer a comprehensive range of courses to our students. This includes both Physics Core and Generic courses as part of the Bachelor of Science program affiliated to Raichur University. We follow the three year UG program in physics as per NEP-2020 Guidelines, starting from August 2021. This program aligns with the latest educational standards and is designed to provide students with a holistic and in-depth understanding of physics. We believe that this program will empower our students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the ever-evolving field of physics. We invite students to explore the new opportunities in the exciting journey towards academic excellence.
We encourage the students to explore the world of physics with us, whether the student is aspiring to delve into the intricacies of the subject or someone simply interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the physical world. Our department is here to support educational journey of students and to foster a vibrant academic community. We encourage students to feel free to reach out to our faculty, if they have any questions or if they’d like to learn more about our programs and research opportunities. We look forward to embarking on this intellectual journey with students. Students can reach out to us for more information on the NEP-2020 and students can be a part of it. Together, we can continue to push the boundaries of knowledge in the fascinating realm of physics.
